Half-yearly financial statements: the Autorité des Marchés Financiers publishes a study on the practices of over 90 issuers

Listed companies are subject to periodic disclosure obligations, including the publication of a half-year financial report. Through a study of the 2018 half-year financial statements of 93 companies, the AMF has provided a review of practices.

First proposals from the Autorité des marchés financiers for the new European legislature

Following the European elections and as Parliament and the Commission begin a new term of office, the AMF wishes to contribute to the 2020-2024 agenda. The AMF publishes a summary of its thematic review of portfolio management practices

In 2018, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) carried out two rounds of five thematic inspections of investment service providers, other than asset management firms (9 credit institutions and 1 investment firm authorised to manage portfolios on behalf of third parties). On the basis of its observations, it has prepared a list of good and poor practices and has issued reminders with respect to the rules applicable thereto.

Prospectus Regulation: the Autorité des Marchés Financiers launches a public consultation on the update of its General Regulation

The Autorité des marches financiers publishes its 2018 annual report

The AMF obtains the sequestration of Systran SAS shares held by the South Korean company LLsolu

As part of its remit to protect savings invested in financial instruments, the AMF applied for an injunction against LLsolu to oblige it to fulfil the undertakings that it had made to former shareholders of Systran SA in its public cash offer followed by a squeeze-out.
